At this time of year as we reflect on the important things in life, we give thanks for our families, our friends and of course we are most thankful for the wonderful produce that we get from land and sea in Ireland.


To celebrate this year’s Thanksgiving I decided to create a new recipe – Bacon & Cabbage Soda bread – inspired by Saint Patrick’s time in Ireland.


As you will see in the video below, it’s a very easy recipe to follow and will fill your home with a wonderful aroma. You can even get the children involved to make some cuts in the bread to let the fairies out!
